A Cold Wind Blows

Right Folks lets get to the business end of this little endeavour...the Gaming!!!!

The first project I have going is my new Tau fleet....Well they're not quite Tau, let me explain if I may

I have been a conspicuous fan of the little grey ones in Warhammer 40k since they were first released, so when I heard there would be rules for them in Battlefleet Gothic I must say I was more then a little excited.

So the rules came out....and they were well fine...But the models, lets just say I wasn't a huge fan of the look that Games Workshop had gone for. So the years passed and my copy of armada sat patiently on the shelves waiting for a time when I might actually use the little greys in space. The day came very close to arriving with the release of the Forge World Tau fleet for the Taros campaign book. Not only were the models wonderful, I actually preferred the rules set up that had been written.

Alas, with Forge World models come Forge World prices...So I was once again back to the drawing board....that is until I came across the good people at Ground Zero Games, who make lovely ships for a knock down price...One of their Mega fleet Packs later and I was in business.

So I've waited patiently and the time has now come to claim the stars for the greater good with my local games club the Dublin Games Guild running a BFG campaign. So over the coming months I'll be updating how my Admiral Cold Wind and his mongrel fleet progress in claiming the stars
